Minimal invasive surgery: removal of left sided adrenal gland with laparoscopic operation. Complete endoscopic left adrenalectomy by Marcel de Bruin and Jeroen Leijtens, Laurentius Hospital Roermond, the Netherlands.
@leytensj : I realize that fact, and I am in no way complaining. I am thankful to Dr. Gogel, Oncologist Specialist in Dallas, Texas. Medical City Dallas, Truly, Saved My Life. =)
@Ayeayecherrypie : Hello =), I just wanted to check on you and your recovery. I hope you are having an easy time with this. I was wondering, does your back feel like you have had a back injury? This is the only problem I seem to have from the surgery. I only relate this to the surgery because I Never had a back issue before this surgery. I would love to hear from others about this subject.
@Ayeayecherrypie Congrats! I am glad you are home and I wish you the most speedy recovery! You are going to be sore for a minute! But! That too will pass! Have a Great Day and Don't Push It! You will be 100% before you know it! =)
@rinaldo795: 45 degree right tilt, cameraport anterior axillary line, left hand, right hand and right lateral assistant 10 mm ports at place of convenience
@ sherriehamilton, you are partly right, of course the lenghth of the incisions are subjectively always too large, however an open approach would have probably left you with a 15-20 cm incision and a much longer recovery period...
