  • This plane looks so rigid, so solid, heavy and angry! .... I'm going to ask my dad to get one for my birthday (no i'm not joking, remember that episode of Top Gear where Jeremy Clarke got an old British fighter jet and put it in his yard? it's doable)

  • The Tumansky R-31's were on the MiG-25, not the 31. The MiG-31's typically used Aviadvigatel D-30F6's,... very different engines...

The Tumansky's were designed for all out raw power, and had very poor low speed performance. The Aviadvigatel's were much more efficient at lower speeds and altitudes than the Tumansky's. They also had fewer overheating issues...

  • thats fast. its like the russian version of an F14 both are big theyre both fighters BUT they were(F14) & are(MiG-31) both used for intercepting enemy fighters and stuff

  • yeah man, its cuz the tunamsky engines can go 3000 km/h

  • these M-F ers are F-n HUGE!
