The words are Ron Paul's:
http://www.house.gov/paul/congrec/congrec2007/cr120507h.htm

The tone, sarcasm, and rage are my own and not Ron Paul's.

H.R. 1955 is an example of our civil liberties being eroded for the illusion of security.

"Those willing to give up a little liberty for a little security deserve neither security nor liberty."
-Benjamin Franklin

"The American people must be willing to give up a degree of personal privacy in exchange for safety and security."
-Louis Freeh 1993 (FBI director)

"What county can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that its people preserve the spirit of resistance."
-Thomas Jefferson

"As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air however slight lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness."
-William O. Douglas, Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court

"We, the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts -- not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution."
-Abraham Lincoln

"Stop throwing the Constitution in my face! It's just a goddamned piece of paper!"
-George W. Bush

"There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws."
-Ayn Rand in Atlas Shrugged

"You don't expect governments to obey the law because of some higher moral development. You expect them to obey the law because they know that if they don't, those who aren't shot will be hanged."
-Michael Shirley

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
-Samuel Adams

  • Actually, the Vietnamese, Iraqis, and Afghanis were all armed. We won't be for very long. Trust your government. If law abiding citizens give up their guns, the criminals will give up theirs too, right?

  • Thank you.

Sometimes too lazy to read text.

  • Shit Ron Paul is so correct.

    Thanks for reading/posting this.

  • y0buddy

look at that dude, he was waiting for a heart attack. That "documentry" was nothing more then an attempt at making money. Not that we're not heading towards fascism, I think we are. Ron Paul really is our only chance to fix things without a second revolution. Since we can't beat the unconstitutionally powerful U.S. Military in battle we're doomed to suffer the fate handed down to us by our new overlords. We need eight years of Ron Paul.

  • This bill was introduced by none other than Rep. Jane Harmon, D. Cal.

I have nothing but contempt for this person, who is attacking the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Should this bill pass the Senate, it will surely be signed into law by the very same progressive, Barack Obama.

We should now rise against this atrocious and damning bill and all speak with one voice, loudly and clearly, NO, HELL NO! Do not allow this bill to become law, for if it does Goodbye America.

  • i couldn't help but laugh when you said "in search of a real problem". They wanna see a shit load of violent radicals? If they try controlling what we can and can't communicate to other people of the world via the internet, I think they will.

  • Sorry I ment "Obama is NOW president..."

:D I know where your coming from bro, no worries... Not anything much we can do really, if 3/4 of a nation WILL march to a NWO.... Fucking ignorance...

Run while you still can... to the mountains or somthing...
