@GamrDan A Serbian Film is too clean, production calue was too high, it was more silly than disturbing. Films like Cannibal Holocause were more disturbing, because you didnt have the internet back then, you couldnt google the info on wiki, all you know of the film was rumour and legend (was it real, wasnt it!), the crap quality just added to hype.

What about the old school remakes like The Thing, The Fly, The Blob etc.? hokey 50's Sci-fi b-movies upgraded with better special effects and talented directors. Would you compare this to Saw or Hostel?
