I LOVE MITCH!!!!! He's one of my FAVORIE meerkats! His future showed that he always has Shakespeare in his mind. When he was pinned to the ground when the group split and was caught by the Commandoes, I KNOW he was remembering everything Shakespeare did for him and how sad Shakespeare would have been if the Commandoes had killed Mitch. I know Mitch felt that moment of streagth and fought back at the Commandoes. Shakepeare's living memory still lives on in our hero, Mitch!

I always liked how Shakespeare saved Mitch as a pup then Mitch saved Axel then Axel saved Chips. What goes around comes around.

@doggieyo I thought Shakespeare recovered from the snake bite early on in series 1... or was that a lie too? Shakespeare was my favourite until he went "missing" :( still miss him x

No, that not what happened. Big Si of the Lazuli didn't kill Shakespeare. Shakespeare went missing after the snake bite and was never seen since. The fight with the Lazuli never happened and was a big lie told by Animal Planet because all they really care about is the "drama".

@doggieyo no shakespeare would have died if he left after the bite!!!!!!!! it happened he saved the pups!! if he would have left mitch would have died but he is alive. shakespear left though the back that is way it took a long time to find him

@vs367 Sorry but no. Shakespeare left the group after the snake bite (not right after but soon after). He did not save the pups from the Lazuli. That never happened at all; as said by the researchers of KMP. If you want to question them, the people who run the meerkat project then go ahead. But the meerkat that was seen on the show after recovering from the snake bite was played by a few different meerkats. The same goes for Mitch, Sophie and Carlos. They were played by a few different meerkats.

Mitch is alive and well!! Just not getting enough air time anymore. :( Hope to see more of him in Season 4!

Mitch has been missing for a bit. He left Whiskers for a while and joined the Aztecs with Zaphod. Then he juust wasn't seen for a bit. Im sure that he is alive and well though. Probably out roving and making baby Mitchies! ^.^
