26 July 2008 at Dupage Airport IL. The view from the starboard waist-gunner position as 'Witchcraft', the Collings Foundation's B-24J Liberator takes off. Difficult to shoot as passengers have to be strapped down during take off, so I had to hold the camera up and hope for the best

  • If you ever have the opportunity to visit an airshow in your area when "Witchcraft" is there, go to it and take the ride. The cost is well worth it and goes to support the ongoing mission of the Collings Foundation to maintain these 'beauties' for the future. Took the ride in 2005 in Pittsburgh, PA on the B-24 when the "Flying Fortress" was there also. My dad flew the B-24 Liberator cargo out of north Africa in the China-Burma campaign. Just awesome!

  • "Witchcraft" just flew over me at about 500 feet while I was in my backyard....I live up the coast a ways from Carlsbad, in San Pedro... very scenic here and they like to fly these vintage WWII bombers over my house.....AWESOME!!! My grandfather was a flight surgeon in England during WWII....something happens in me when I see and hear one of those old warbirds flying overhead...keep 'em flying!

  • I've seen Witchcraft at Mt Comfort, Indiana airshow. Thanks for posting footage.
