My Beautiful Dacia is a lighthearted and humoristic portrayal of the evolution of Rumania from Communism to the present times, seen through the eyes of its most emblematic symbol, the Dacia automobile. In our film, we will be following different generations of Romanians, from the nostalgic to the young and ambitious, showing the transformation of Romanian society. The connecting point between the different stories is always the Dacia car: first, a symbol of the Communism era and now a reflection of the capitalist market.
