http://www.RedWormComposting.com Presents - How to make small paper pots using a jar and a sheet from the telephone book. I recently watched an "eHow" YouTube video that showed how to make paper pots using newspaper and was inspired to try this out myself. I had an old book of postal codes and found a small toothpick jar, and the rest is history. I am adding a mixture of coconut coir and vermicompost (worm compost) as a starting mix. You can put these pots right in the ground and they will break down completely (just remove the piece of tape if you use one).
Thank you!

you could stick a toothpick (wooden) in the side to hold it together, sorta like pinning it together and then just plant it. Might eliminate the hassle of removing the tape....

Do you need to move out paper pots before planting in larger pots?

Great video, never would have thought of this on my own!!! May I suggest paper clips instead of tape? They might last longer, they are reusable and they are easily removed. Thanks for your video inspiration!

You can also use finished toilet/kitchen rolls or coffee/eggbox containers.
