Man I remember seeing this, and my mind just EXPLODED with hype, and i'm sure everyone else was too.
If only this game turned out to be like this and further polished, Sonic wouldn't be getting such a bad reputation in the gaming world.
I've played through Sonic Generations and enjoyed the nostalgia factor, but something tells me I would still be oogling over Sonic 06 more if it had stayed like this.
Sega, PLEASE remake Sonic 06 and give it the makeover it truly deserves.

@DragonKillerLOL2 One thing I noticed is that the rings look better, things are better to look at(better eye candy) and stuff seems more detailed.

@MrFAIL069 I did too. I strongly agree. I just wish that just only one game, they could remake Sonic 06 again. To correct the mistake they created and people call a trainwreck. It's a good thing Sonic got there before that happened.

@Sonicshot101 its the last of its free roamer style action adventure play style...not like these automated high speed playthroughs like todays sonics.......i miss this sonic regardless of its little bugs...it helped me discover and want the xbox 360 as well as halo 3 did......i honestly wasn't old enough then to know wat came out when until i got on youtube

@KaiserdeEmperana The Director got so pissed off that they had to release it unfinished that right before the release, he broke both of Sonic's legs, and that's how he was put into the game. Sonic got better, but still was limping sorta. =/

There is some things that I noticed during screenshots of the alpha (beta?) and this.

-Sonic grinds faster
-animation is WAY better
-Sonic is faster, on rails, and foot.
And alot more. Even though I like the game (Sometimes DX), It could be fixed.

Sega should remake this game, it full of potential... Many people don't like it, and i understand why, but damn, it would be ignorance not to recognise its potential,
Oh well, this game wont be remade, but, it would be a win if it was glitch free and had this night and day cycle...
One thing i noticed, the water, looks much better in this version then it does in the final game...
