Ahhhh-ha-haaaa! Such a clever idea!! I saw this wonderful band live at the Auckland Festival last night, having had their CD on repeat in my car for the last couple of months.

You could look at it as social commentary - if we aren't happy seeing kids immitate it, then we'd better examine our behavior; kids will imitate their parents, and way too many families in NZ perpetuate this cycle.

But you probably gotta guess Trygve and Barney just thought it was funny....

This song is about getting drunk, taking drugs, and dancing mad. The night life of a regular city Joe and Jane.

TVNZ banned it because of the fact that they are portraying kids doing the same thing, but with child-based products such as milk and lollies.

The thing is, they think this will encourage kids to get drunk, take drugs, and dance mad. But the truth is, its already happening. It isn't encouraging anything. Its a good song. And people don't really find it offensive at all.
