Slide deployment of Boeing 767 at Miami Dade Int. Airport

@SEATracers thats a skid for tailstrikes. The concord had a wheel but most others do not have actual wheels.

it's a 767-200, the two bits on the side of the slide are outer compartments that people can stay in if the aircraft ditches..

@samuelli117 The escape slides can often be detatched from the airplane and used as life rafts in case of a landing on water, those side bits will help stability in rougher water and possibly, I'm not 100% sure, be used as covered compartments to provide some shelter.

@TheDieselmonkey11 You can tell the difference between a 767 and 777 the landing gear? I can tell by just looking at it. Its not even the same. And the 777 has 12 main gears, I fly them for Air Canada too. The 767 has 8 main gears. 777 has larger fuselage, larger engines, different tail, and different APU cowling, which is kinda hard to see while it is in the air.
