Pokemon Heart Gold Soul Silver OFFICAL ENGLISH TRAILER USA and Europe Release Date HD HUGE NEWS

Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver to be released Spring 2010.
Nintendo has confirmed a 2009 release for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, DS remakes of the principal Generation II Pokémon games, Gold and Silver, which were originally released for the Game Boy Color in 1999 in Japan. Speculated by fans to be in development since the release of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the remakes will take gamers back to the Johto region, found west of Kanto — this time as Generation IV games.

The games will most likely be able to link to Diamond, Pearl and Platinum as shown by game data.

HeartGold and SoulSilver will be released in Japan this fall, on Sep 12, the 10th anniversary of the original release of their namesakes. International releases will likely come in Spring 2010

@MrJay822 you just don't understand do you? before black and white, diamond and pearl, ruby and saphire, there was gold and silver and it was the best generation of pokemon ever (you could go to johto and kanto). sorry to say this but the new pokemon are nothing compared to the greatness of the first two generations of pokemon. now pokemon are losing fans so this game was a way of response to the fans of pokemon that the old generations will never die. lugia, ho oh > Reshiram and Zekrom

@zachfernandez92 you're like me dude. the originals are always the best because we begin since we where children playing the originals ones and in our lifes nothing will beat the original pokemon games (espetialy R/B and G/S/C). the remakes it's like a great nostalgia coming from all of us with new graphics, pokemons from Hoenn and Sinnoh and the pokeathlete dome. but let's say we don't need new stuff to make the originals better

@MythicalGryphon1 maybe because they wanted to add some new stuff to the game and yes in the original pokemon G/S/C when you walk you walk faster than HG/SS maybe because the more 3D engine in the remakes alows to walk slowly or just add in the game along with the bicycle. it's like replacing the bicycle with the shoes they're almost the same thing

@theburdenof Everytime someone says that the first two Pokémon generations were the best, I wonder, "But there were no Running Shoes in the first two generations, and you couldn't use the Bicycle indoors. Don't these facts take some of the fun away from the first two generations - the fact that there's less speed than there is in the newer games."

I've always wanted to play this generation 'cause when I became a pokemon fan I didn't know about the video games (didn't have the money to buy a game boy too) and then, when I bought a game boy advance it was quite hard to get Pokemon Soul, Gold or even Crystal. So I am very happy that now I have the chance to play on my DS both games because that's my favorite generation ever
