Emergency Response Coalition Sangamon County

The Emergency Response Coalition (ERC), based in Sangamon County (Illinois), includes members of the teamsters (Local 916), carpenters (Local 16), operating engineers (Local 965) and the laborers (Local 477) international unions. Ameren Illinois donated a portable generator, safety glasses, gloves and other items to be used by the group when responding to various emergency events. The ERC recently played a significant role in the aftermath of tornadoes in Loami and Williamsville. The ERC helped clear trees and debris so Ameren Illinois crews could safely and quickly respond to restore power.
