Great question! Yes, but keep it to low doses, as you don't want to encourage detoxification while breastfeeding.

Can you take MS while breast feeding? I mean sulfur is in onions and garlic, and I eat those so would it be safe?

Hello Elwin, Love your videos! I wanted to ask for your thoughts on plant-derived MSM vs petroleum based MSM. I have tried both and get amazing benefits from both. Is plant-derived MSM really much better?

@skizzie thank you. Great question. I'd say they both work the same, however plant based is certainly more ethical and less likely to have accidental contaminants. The Source Naturals one i stock is plant derived. It's made from wood pulp so it's not exactly hard to make that way.

I have gotten some anxiety from taken this ... is this a common symptom ?
clickswitchh 3 months ago
@clickswitchh it's a possible detox symptom, or it may be unrelated. I'd stop taking it, say for a few weeks. Assuming the anxiety goes, try adding in a little again, about a quarter of what you were having before, and see if you get any kind of reaction again. If not, build up slowly. Reacting to MSM, if that is what's happening, is a sure sign that the liver needs working on!

@clickswitchh any detox symptom is possible, although anxiety is less likely yes, it's definitely possible. Just reduce the dose massively and then build up slowly.

how much we should take daily? a take 1500 mg is that ok?
kosteczka6666 3 months ago
@kosteczka6666 it's certainly ok, but to get some of the miraculous results people talk about, you often need to take a lot more, although you need to build up to taking more slowly, over several weeks or months. Having as much as 10000-20000mg a day is certainly not excessive, and there is no know toxicity for MSM. I once cured a sprained ankle within a day by taking 50000mg of MSM in one go :-)
