  • @mrblogger913 VERY TRUE and folks just remember that you could shell out £100 for these only to find that a few days later OFCOM come knocking at your door and tell you to stop using them!!!!!! And if you like listening to Shortwave, FM, or DAB digital radio you don't want these in your house cos they will wipe out your radio reception!!!!!!!!

  • i think it's quite good i can get my 40mbps connection from downstairs at about 30mbps, i have a d-link powerline adapter which i can connect four devices to :D

  • Having first hand experience of the effect of these devices on Short Wave, AirBand & Broadband use.

    I can say they do block out Shortwave radio Broadcast or Ham Radio, they also make weak Am Airband radio hard to hear & slow down the broadband internet. Having had OFCOM Govement body remove one local to me & seeing the change, I wonder why there not already banned & wonder will it take a Air to Air crash because a pilot or

  • proinformor vc esta bem por fora da situação né, nao sei se vc sabe, mas vai existir filtros que irao impedir as interferencias e ruidos, e ja esta em testes no brasil e logo logo ja estara no mercado

  • Powerline adapters cause interference to radios from the shortwave up to VHF. Can be up to a distance of 500 metres away from your house at ground level if not more in some circumstances.

    They are not EMC compliant It is old technology and using mains siring instead of proper network cabling which is balanced and/or screened. This allows RF to radiate hence problems.

    Far better to use Ethernet or wifi.

    In certain conditions these devices scan slow down your broadband connection

  • cara fiquei impressionado com o seu comment.. eu tbm nao acredito que seja uma boa ideai mandar mais "ruido" pelas tomadas eletricas ja que poderia causar danos a outros aparelhos conectados nao so na mesma localidad senao em lugares vizinhos
