I highly recomend you turning to human in the blacksmith bone fire and kindling it. Also since this patch you will find alot more white sings so you could show a little of co-op or the npc co-op of the game.

@speakwithdeath That's exactly what I did, actually. Although it cheapened the next boss immensely, I went in with both an NPC and another player helping (amusingly, I realized later that they were both part of the Sunlight covenant). Don't expect too much wandering in human form, though, because quite frankly I suck at PvP.

@Bdashcates15 Recording with: Hauppauge HD PVR. Editing with: AviSynth (more specifically, with AvsPmod to give it a more friendly interface) and MeGUI to encode. Still using Audacity for audio.

Your vids made me buy this game! Unfortunately, I've been having serious trouble around this part. I'm a pyromances, and I'm using a longsword and the knight shield. Any tips?

the "Praise the sun!" message is like saying, Woohoo! i just beat it! or thank god i made it! its basically expressing happiness after getting through a challenging part

i do believe the praise the sun message is for co-op

because there is the warrior of sunlight covenant which is strictly co-op only

i know that every time i see a message saying "praise the sun" ii tend to see a warrior of sunlight summon sign not far from it

@IthilionTheBrave Ohhh, nice :D. And dont worry, wandering as a human would make this slower because of the invasion... exept for some bosses that is highly recomended (dont know where you are actually playing so im not going to spoil anithing)

I'm getting this for Christmas on ps3 ( as if that mattered) and I'm trying to refrain from watching gameplay but it looks great!

Honestly I think strength and dex builds are completely useless for only 1 playthrough in dark souls because elemental weapons will probably out damage the regular basic weapons with scaling for most of the game.
