Gigot gets frustrated

I'm not believer, but this is so heartbreaking though!

Scene when Gigot gets frustrated when he is unable to explain to the little girl "who that man is" (Jesus on the crucifix).

No soy creyente, pero la escena es sin duda estremecedora.

Gigot se enoja consigo mismo cuando no puede explicarle a la pequeña "quien es ese hombre" (Jesus en el crucifijo).

Yeah, no doubt about it. It was one of my faves growing up. I can't believe to this day the critics crapped all over it when it was released.

Classic acting by the Great One. Where was it filmed?  Great backdrop.

Gleason's greatest roll and he never uttered a single word. Truly "The Great One".

Yea i did, "Loved It," Gleason i think was just beat out for an Oscar. Although i,m not sure. He might have won the Oscar!! Beautiful Picture.

I read somewhere that during a break in filming of this movie, Jackie Gleason left the set, walked into town & went into a bakery. The store owner, not knowing that a movie was being filmed nearby & not knowing that it was Jackie Gleason, THREW HIM OUT of the store, thinking he was just a bum. Jackie Gleason finally explained who he was & that he was in costume for the movie. I just thought it was an interesting tidbit of information. I wonder what he was thinking at the time.
