Kereta - Speed of Light

Kereta is an electronic duo consisting of Adam Kasturi and Migi de Belen. They met in 2007 at Limkokwing University, London and eventually became roommates in a flat somewhere along Finchley Road for several months. This period could be said to be the beginnings of Kereta, with the two friends exchanging musical knowledge instead of studying: Adam being well-versed in electronic music production and Migi being stuck in a singer/songwriter rut. However, Kereta only became official over a year after this period, Adam having moved back to Kuala Lumpur and Migi having returned to Manila. Both being primarily solo artists, they wrote and composed their first successful collaboration "Speed of Light" in October of 2009. These days they exchange ideas, *.wav and *.flp files over Yahoo Messenger.
