@tofootie So... what about all the problems that existed back in your supposed "good old days": racism, homophobia, etc. Teenagers were always rebels, thats a big part of being a teenager, you rebel against your parents. What's so bad about technology? Technology has gotten more advanced constantly in the last 200+ years of society, its niehter good nor bad, its just part of life. What do you mean "womens lib?" Are you saying women shouldn't have equal rights?
Another great rant Brandon. The people I found most guilty of this are usually older Christian fundamentalists (no offense to any fundies out there, or old dudes.)
Okay, so I do have to agree with tofootie on the cashier thing. There is very little customer service these days, because it isn't taught when someone is hired. I didn't force you to take the job at Walgreens, you applied for it and accepted the position - sooooo, since you are in a customer service oriented business, give me some customer service!!
I believe in the "good ol' days". The days before people couldn't be bothered by the cashier because they were talking on their cellphones. The days before women's lib killed chivalry. The days when teenagers answered "yes, sir" or "no, ma'am" instead of blurting out a string of profanities. I miss the days when people had fewer technological distractions to keep them from actually interacting with one another. I believe in the good ol' days, and they were pretty good!
you mean the days that there was racism and wars sure those were the good ol' days
