  • whats the deal with Z32 AFM's??

are they just bigger, hence, less of a restriction than stock items??

  • yes they are bigger in diametre (RB26 65mm)-(Z32 80mm) but the main reason for using them is they measure alot more air, the factory RB26 afm's wont read as much air and max out.

  • Haha, that's sick. Nice shoes.

  • I cant afford shoes :(

spend all the money on fuel! :P

  • 2 things, R34 series doesnt have a GTS-T its a 25GT-T and second the head gasket on that GT-R in the vid is either blown or not installed properly. When a GT-R runs rich in fuel it puffs black smoke not thick white. I have an R32 GT-R btw so im not talking outta my ass.

  • yeah white smoke is water, hasn't got a blown head gasket.

Probably was abit of water condensation vapour that was in the exhaust heating up, as I didnt run it for very long that day, basically just ran it to turn the motor over.

  • @stekrirade You're sort of correct. In actuality, turbos push more air into the motor, which is then mixed with the proper amount of fuel by the fuel injectors, which are usually aftermarket and larger in size to allow the extra fuel needed to mix with all the extra air the turbo is forcing into the motor. The combination of the two, in the correct ratio, results in more power.

  • i thought turbos burned more fuel hense more horsepower

  • burnt oil is blue

  • all cars with turbos useually smoke a bit only when u accelerate or rev it its where it is runing rich for a second and the turbo has to spool up

  • its not burning oil its just condensation and unburnt fuel ;-)

  • the white smoke u see is just condensation (steam).

Then when he revs it u can see the black smoke....although its quite light black.....its still "black".

  • nice ride

  • Sick car brother.

  • check out this vid a lot of people think that u have to get rid of air flow meters to make the big numbers all it comes down to is having the right tune and jim at croydon knows gtr's
