This atmospheric short film made by DJ Evans gives a glimpse into the edgy world of the beautifully written, 'Random Walk'; the debut novel by Alexandra Claire. It's 2035, a bankrupt society is under constant surveillance and subdued by twenty-four hour 3D gaming. Free-runner, Remi, is one of the few people active and engaged in the real world. Illustrated by cutting-edge street artist, Duca HZG, Random Walk is published by Gomer Press. Click the link to facebook or Amazon. An extract from Random Walk is published in UrbanFreeflow magazine, Jump Issue 7, Pages 54-55

  • It was with massive sadness I heard about the death of the unique, inspirational, thought-provoking, joy-giving, chaotic, genius artist Gil Scott-Heron. As I was writing Random Walk, The Revolution will not be Televised played through my mind as I wrote and very much inspired the spirit of the book...my world would certainly have been a much poorer place without his work. Thank You Gil.

  • De rien :) Vous avez quel age ? Parce que vous promettez

  • very impressive and creative video! I love it!!

  • @Osian2035 i mean: beginn with a good book and then the film

  • @parkouretc Exactly - but a trailer for a book published later this year which features a free-runner, who has to run to stay alive and evade capture by the authorities...you can get a better idea from reading the extract...we dream of developing it into a film...would you like to see more? :)

  • @traceurmontanceix merci ! :)
