A little twist of something different, NZXT is taking the global financial situation in stride and looking to keep enthusiasts enthused with a value orientated case that has all the features of a top end enclosure, without the triple digit price tag.

The BETA is a part of the NZXT Classic Series and sports a simple, yet functional design, along with a jet black interior that has you wondering where this case has been all your life. It offers flexibility in cable management, and totes a screwless drive system for incredible ease of use. The BETA is not just meant for budget builds. It has the functionality and the style to compliment a system of any class, even providing support for larger components. All this for a price that will have you wondering if your buying a case or the instructions on how to build one.

  • sorry but the pros and cons at the end are LAME

who cares about windows, screwless mounting, etc

WE care about material what is this case made of, WE care about the build quality

WE care about how good is this setup good in cooling and how noisy is this case.....

  • They made a lot of improvements with the Evo

  • Can anybody tell me why towers are made with power supply mounts on the bottom now ???? it catches dust 3 times faster and it doesn't have as much room to breath compared to the top mounts... please give me a specific answer. Thanks

  • @BonAquak Well, I personally don't care about these things but there are many people out there that care. So don't just simply use the word "we".

  • @c0ketehwhale ... dust bunny magnet with the lack of decent intake fans other than the front. Anyone have any ideas or experience with either kind of airflow or advice? Has anyone every "jimmy-rigged" there own dust filters for a positive airflow setup? Sorry for the length. Thanks for any feedback.

  • @c0ketehwhale Looks nice hey!! :) I'm hopin even though this is an old thread that someone might have some advice/tech videos talking about positive and negative pressure. I own the Beta (Evo) which includes optional dual 120mm fans or 140mm fans and am wondering wether to go with positive or negative pressure with the case. One big issure is the lack of dust filters on the side for the dual 120mm fans for a positive airflow setup. I'm just simply worried that this case will turn into a big...

  • @Nuage13 in beta evo the PSU is at downstair

  • this is a good case but the voltage is upstair :(

  • I will use this case for my next build... I think of putting Noctua NF-S12-1200 as exhaust fan... What do u think I should use on a side? Noctua NF-S12-800? or Noctua NF-S12-1200??? and could I put just 1 on a side?

  • The Beta classic has almost exactly the same stuff. my build is a AMD 3800+ with a Biostar mobo, and like 3GB of ram, pretty crappy, But if i can sell that, than i will probably buy the EVO and put a core i5 with EVGA P55 le, 4-8GB of ram, depending on how much cash i got left, and a 260GTX, It will need the 3 extra fans. I plan on overclocking it. O and liquid cooling too :D

  • beta evo better :)
