Kelseys eyes went wide and we turned around to see Nick in the doorway.

Joe: Nick h-hey. Haha April fools?

Nick: Its October.

Joe: Well we still wanted to fool you. Ha. You believed we were married. Wooh.

Nick just glared at me.

Kelsey: ok, nick, you promise not to freak out when we tell you something?

Nick: it depends. Try me.

Kelsey: Ok, you might want to sit down.

We sat down on the couch.

Kelsey: well, we were eating dinner in France, and Joe ordered this drink, but we didnt know what it was. Well we drank it and apparently it had alcohol, and well we got drunk, and sort of, uh, well we woke up married.

Nick looked at us and burst up laughing.

Kelsey: I dont see how thats funny.

Nick: good one. Ok, now the real story.

Joe; shes telling the truth.

He looked between us and his face paled.

Nick: You guys are married?

Kelsey: Yeah.

Nick: how was the wedding?

Kelsey: we dont exactly remember.

Nick: Whoa. Wait till the others hear about this.

Joe: NO! You cant tell them.

Nick: why not?

Joe: because, I was just going to propose to Kelsey, wed have a real wedding, and it wouldnt matter.

Nick: But-

Kelsey: Please Nick, Dont Tell anyone.

He looked torn.

Nick: Fine. But what am I going to say to Angela? She thinks your pregnant, and that you broke your promise.

Me and Kelsey looked at each other.

Nick: Shes Pregnant too?! What are people going to think?

Joe: we dont know for sure, and this is going to be a very short engagement. We kind of already started planning the wedding.

Nick: so you didnt know the drink had alcohol?

We shook our heads.

Nick: you are married?

We nodded.

Nick: you guys didnt break your promise?

We shook our heads.

Nick : Wow. This is a lot to take in. So what are we going to tell Angela?

Kelsey: I dont know.
