Computer Space (Nutting Associates 1971)

The first commercial arcade videogame. It was designed by Nolan Bushnell, who founded Atari not long after this game bombed.

Nolan Bushnell's son wyatt goes to my school. i didnt realize he was actually serious when he told me who his dad was. this is awesome.

Computer Space was a direct attempt by Nolan Bushnell to monetize Spacewar!, a game he had played on a mainframe at the University of Utah.

yup, and in 1977 a very good port of spacewar to the arcade was made by cinematronics, it's called space wars. Go to KLOV for more information
