The Derase women tattoo a line from the forehead down the middle of their faces. Ethiopia was never dull. There was always something new along the road whether it was people heading to the fields or little boys "doing a little dance" to earn a few Birr.

One of the most fascinating countries we've ever visited.

  • @blaint09 I wish I did have the money and could travel all the time. Many, if not the majority, of trips were taken over the years and I too have always worked full-time. My website tries to maximize whatever we have to stretch that budget to the utmost. I've met people traveling and having a great time on almost no money. Persevere and travel. Best regards, Travels With Sheila

  • hey i checked out your website. how do you have the time and money to go to all these places? is it apart of your job? Im trying to find ways to do that but the only options seem to be either to major in different languages-cant do that- teach- maybe but thinking no- become a doctor/nurse-no- or do something in buisness- and i dont want to do buisness.
