Seema Mehta trained under her Guruji, Pandit Chitresh Das for over 10 years. Like all of his students at Chhandam School of Kathak, she is trained to sing while dancing. Accompanied by some of India's most acclaimed musicians such as Pt. Ramesh Mishra on Sarangi, Pt. Bhawani Shankar on Pakhawaj, Shri Jayanta Banerjee on Sitar and Wasi Ahmed Khan on Tabla. @naturallydien Her vocals are pathetic no matter what you say. She's simply not meant for singing. She hasn't got it in her.Is singing meant for everybody?

@holistic1951 For having trained only 10 years, Seema can hold herself quite well singing in taal while performing very complex footwork. And considering PanditJi's training is quite disciplined and rigorous with no short-cuts, the difficulty in pulling that off while she clearly emanates joy in her dance is extremely commendable.

nice movements pathetic vocals...she shall refrain strictly from singing and let the maharaj do the vocals...though not an ace himself he's acceptable.
