Rick Dickert was the MC of the Polar Plunge in 2007 and provided us with this great helicopter footage of the Seal Beach Pier. We hope that Rick can be a part of our 2009 event!

Oh, why didn't you mention his wife is a "hotty" and that he has kids. Then of course, he *must* be straight - lol.

Having a wife,(cough-beard) kids, and being a surfer doesn't mean that he's straight you know. I knew a few surfers back in OC that had girlfriends that would mess around with guys on the sidelines. Things aren't always what they seem.

I can confirm that Rick is straight.... His wife is a freaking hotty~ He also has 2 very cute dauthers that are college studets.. He is a highly respected in the South Bay surf culture..
