We often get calls from people with aquariums that were installed by less-than-professional aquarium service companies and they've ended up with a serious mess on their hands. Though we prefer to work on custom installations that we've installed, there are certainly instances where we feel compelled to help someone out, and hopefully acquire a new client at the same time. This pediatric dentists office was a classic case. A snail-infested, totally neglected hole of an aquarium was the scene, and we were anxious to assist. The doctor didn't want to spend a bunch of money, so we planned a low-cost, low maintenance, but high impact decorative freshwater layout that was sure to please.

  • They are definitely artificial plants. Live plants would not be an appropriate choice for a setting like this.

  • Why do people always ask, was the tank cycled, do you really want to watch a week long video of a tank settling??????????????? Use some common sense. I think ADG knows what they are doing.

  • I think the fish were better off in the bucket than the first tank that they were in...

  • lol, same tank, really killed

  • @ADGVibe i would love to by some of those plants! i have a fancy goldfish tank and i cant put real ones in because they will eat them! like those plant are the chiz!

  • wow, great job....do you have any tips about changing gravel...I would like to change my gravel for another color....

  • use real plants... this plastic things sucks... not only for fishes

  • Absolutely outstanding!(from a fish person) Very natural and sophisticated. As for some of the comments. Yes, it is an odd selection of fish and not recommended, BUT when you REALLY know what you are doing it can be fine. Just bc it is a lake only dedicated tank doesn't mean that it will have problems. The tank WAS over crowded when waterchanges were not done, but with the types of fish that are in there you need it "over crowded" and that can be compensated for with proper waterchanges

  • overcrowded tank with a poor selection of fish.... those malawis will def cause trouble down the line. hmmmm doc should have just done it himself

  • def odd fish selection, dont try that at home

  • ps Strange fish combination but it works

    Love the Dennison Barbs tho
