Thats it! fuel we don't need to go to war for. Maybe we can put our veterans to work making biodiesel and rebuilding New Orleans in stead of importing both the fuel and the labor from other countries? At least that is what we are trying to do at BIOLIBERTY, LLC.
oh, and I would check out the film before you go bashing it. Maybe if we all work together on getting the word out about alternative energy we can help our environment.
I too saw Revolution Green. It played at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It's a great documentary about biodiesel as an alternative to diesel fuel, very informative and a good story about a couple who make the fuel, and those that use it. Plus it has Willie Nelson in it!! Yee-Haw!! As responsible citizens of the earth, we really need to look at many forms of alternative energy to get off the petro, and this film is a great start!! Props to the people that made it.
It is the only documentary I've ever seen with such detailed insight about this incredible resource, offering a strong counterpoint to all the common myths and rumors about biofuels. I highly recommend Revolution Green to anybody who wants to know more about what biodiesel really is and how renewable energy can ceate a sustainable way of life for all!
I've seen this film at the Maui Film Festival!!! Revolution Green is an incredible documentary that explores what biodiesel is and how it can help break our dependence on petroleum!

I'm not going to travel cross country just to see a movie with childishly unobjective arguements.
If you got anything you think is compelling, say it.

If you think clear cutting the rainforrests, and emitting nitrogen oxide into the atmosphere is a good idea, raise your hand.
Since that sounds like a great tradeoff for dellusional environmentalists to feel good about themselves.

I'd like to hear some of those "strong counter points".
I'm betting it's just as much a propaganda film that ignores all the inconvenient facts associated with biofuels.
BioFuels are inherently inefficient, expensive, and polluting ways to harvest sunlight.

Besides which, biofuels get more subsidy per gallon than petroleum. Over half the sale price of biodiesel is taxpayer subsidy.

Even if we took all of the waste tallow and vegetable oil in the entire country, we wouldn't even surpass 1% of our current fuel demands.
While it's nice, it's just a drop in the bucket on the grand scale.
As a whole though, biofuels, particularly biodiesel does a lot more harm tham good.
