  • sarath

  • @ampkg would it be possible for you to detail the bols of the peshkar pls? many many thanks!

  • Ustad Sultan Khan together with a sarangi is a great gift to mankind, he plays absolutely beautifully and understands the science of space in music that so many musicians of all genres dont ! - Ustad Zakir Hussain Khan has the technique available in his hands and coupled with true genuine musicality he is phenonamal - they are a match made in Heaven - Live Concerts like this are unbeatable for listening to Indian classical music as the Charisma of the artists is evident to one's eyes and ears.

  • @ampkg many thanks for the reply!

  • @pratopathak hi no its the slow composition that starts off the tabla solo (like zakirji is doing). It usually lasts up to 10 or 12 minutes. It goes in different speeds later towards the end. This video skips the peshkar at 4:47..

  • @ampkg kind sir, what does peshkar mean? is it similar to tukda / chakradhar?

  • Magical...& divine..no doubt ..tis Part one....also...interesting note is ustadji.. is shooing off photographers!!!!!!....in todays world.....that is unique...hweva gr8 an artist...!!!!!!!...
