It is the 1920's : rival tug fleets compete for work in Bigg City Port. Captain Starr briefs his "Starr Tugs" - he's trying to win the regular contract to dock "The Duchess" ocean liner. It'll be a difficult job but to help out, the captain has recruited "Sunshine", a small switcher.
The rival "Z Stacks" are encouraged by their devious captain Zero to sabotage the operation. Zorran, their leader runs one tug aground, and nudges Sunshine into "The Duchess's" bow, swinging her dangerously. Captain Starr orders Sunshine's dismissal, but he runs away, & is lost in the harbour in a thick fog....

@TransmissionEpicts Well really, VHS tapes can only hold a vertical resolution of about 250 give or take depending on the speed they were recorded. But yes, if they re digitised the film in HD, that would be brilliant! In the show 'Salty's Lighthouse' they used some restored TUGS film, and it looked great! Once I get my TUGS VHS tapes transferred, I will just raise the saturation a tad, to enhance the colours, and upload in standard def, and that should give the best results!

Thanks for uploading this! But, there isn't much point watching it in "1080p" as the VHS it's taken from is only 576i (IE: Standard Def)

Though... if the original footage from the production was found and restored it should look amazing! I read that they filmed it in 35mm with a highly sophisticated rig, so if it did make it to transfer it should be of Blu-ray quality. Imagine that!! Tugs in full 1080p on a massive TV :-)
