my recipe is the following: . un-sweetened almond milk, egg whites, banana, whey protein powder, peanut butter, almond butter, low-fat no salt added cottage cheese or fat-free cottage cheese, plain non-fat greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, flaxseed meal, wheat germ powder, oatmeal, cinnamon, honey and ice.

you forgot about sugar input...that shake is loaded with sugar. terrible for your health. junky shake

@ray93950 after a workout you want to get something with sugar into your body it activates insulin and transport needed glucose and protein into the cells. This is a post workout shake.

@241Snipe Recommended 16-18 above. Stay away from them if you're family have a history of kidney problems.

@241Snipe doesn't depend on your age, base it on your body's calorie needs in relationship to your training program.
