From The Honeymooners episode "Head of the House." Ralph and Norton decide to get drunk to prove that they are the masters of their domains. When Ralph goes upstairs to get Norton, Alice switches the wine for grape juice and the fun and mayhem begins. As they say in the sewer "here's mud in your eye."

  • This is the real comedy kids, not the crap that's on TV these days! Watch and enjoy! Pure genius! Gleason and Carney were the best! :)

  • The Genius,Jackie Gleason.Proof that in simplicity lives professionalism, true talent, carisma, innovation, class and true revolution. This show is proof that its does'nt have to be trashy, sexual, volgure.or low life to be funny or innovative. Many of todays shows and actors, sadly, contain too much blinding ego, and arrogance but yet contain too little true talent, carisma, class, and personality. Our society has always had problems but that doenst mean that we have to focus our entertainment on it.

  • They are great together just like Andy & Barney.

  • @ClassicTVful sooo right...

  • When they made Jackie and Art, they threw alway the mold. The only two characters that could compare to those two are Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance.

  • imma have tot ry that. good one Alice

  • Funny is as funny does, talent beyond compare

  • Somebody stole the bed! xD

  • This sketch is funny. BTW, it may have been taken from a movie scene from their spiritual ancestors, Laurel and Hardy, in their movie, "Blotto," where the exact same thing happens - Laurel's wife empties a jug of wine and fills it with cold tea (among other things). L & H get "drunk" off the concotion.
