This is great! I didn't know there was a VH1 behind the music on the group. It really lets you see where the "genesis" mojo comes from. Love it!

@SuperStrik9 Wasn't quite the same when Peter and Steve left ? That's the understatement of the century. They turned into a cross between the Bee Gees and The Wurzels. The 3 man era was Genesis in name only. The became an absolute embarrassment to the older fans. I can't dance... my arse !

@tjrrockandrollmaster We are all such Genesis nerds lol. Debating about the understanding of childbirth between bandmembers lol! If they weren't such an awesome band I'd say it's almost sad lol. For me the band wasn't quite the same when Peter and then Steve left. They were still a good band and I like everything up to and including Duke. That said Genesis best work was during the Gabriel era imo.

@SuperStrik9 Phil was in a relationship with a woman who had a baby at the time Joely who he would adopt as his child so he had some sympathy to Peter. Tony, Mike and Steve didn't have kids at the time and Mike would not be married until 1976 and he and Tony would not have kids until 1977/78. If Phil had picked up Steve while driving to Trident Studios during the Seconds Out mixing he would have persuaded Steve to stay. (watch the interview for And Then There Were Three DVD).

@Burbridge92 I never suggested Peter's fan worship was born from a solely musical perspective. I don't know you but I would guess you became a fan much later than me. Peter WAS ( trust me ! ) the fans' favourite member of Genesis by some distance back then.Tony Banks says he thought it was the end of Genesis when Peter Gabriel left, hence why he pleaded with him to stay. Ask yourself why Tony Banks would feel such strong doubts ( at that time ) over Genesis's future after Gabriel's departure.
