Highly recommended getting a copy of the Everything Rises Must Coverage, some of the best written short stories to have graced the English language . Their also a good way to get your mind thinking and reflecting about their connecting themes to Lost and why Jacob would be reading that book in particular.

@Enterf8 Flannery O'Connor's stories have very strong thematic connections to Lost. Look her up. (Everyone should read "A Good Man is Hard to Find.")
