The state of Alabama is undoubtedly haunted by places of the past. Old cemeteries and plantations dot the landscape. Here are ten if its most haunted...

1. Bass Cemetery, Birmingham: Reports of occult activity, apparitions of civil war soldiers, and strange sensations and screaming noises are all reported.

2. Bear Creek Swamp, Pratville: Strange dancing lights, soldier's apparitions, and bizarre noises, are all in the area.

3. Desoto Falls, Mentone: The nearby grounds are haunted by the apparition of an old lady and a ghostly black dog.

4. Fort Gains, Dauphin Island: Haunted by the soldiers who once guarded the fort, including at least one which follows visitors around.

5. Hudson House, Ashland: Host to strange noises like dogs panting and disembodied voices. A dark figure is sometimes seen on the roof.

6. Indian meadows, Adamsville: All the homes in the area seem to be host to apparitions and electrical interference as a result of having been built on indian burial land.

7. Judson College, Marion: Spirit attacks are common throughout the campus, with apparitions in the J Building, and in Carlisle Hall. Kirtley Hall room 313 is haunted by poltergeist activity.

8. Lake Tohlocco, Fort Rucker: Various civil war related apparitions and noises at night surrounding the lake.

9. Main Street, Albertville: As a result of an early 1900's tornado which destroyed the main street, local businesses experience cold spots and the sounds of screams at night outside and inside.

10. University of North Alabama, Florence: Apparitions and strange noises in Guillot Center, Norton Auditorium, and the off campus bookstore.

  • how is lake tohlocco haunted? i go there ALL the time.

  • @TheWrongProductions By apparitions dating to the civil war.

  • @TheWrongProductions Strange that it's "haunted" by Civil War Soldiers, since it was built in the 1940's by the US government....

  • @StacyAnderson34 The geographic area existed before the 1940s, obviously. Perhaps graves were flooded during construction.

  • what's the name of the song u used for this video?

  • @MrJerrytroop "Vampire Empire" by Kristen Lawrence, all her songs are wonderful
