About 100 mourners attended memorial services for Rodney King on June 30 at Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills. Al Sharpton performed the eulogy, saying King wanted to be remembered as a unifier and that he never showed vengeance after the beating by Los Angeles police. Other speakers including Molly Bell, Najee Ali, Jasmyne Cannick, as well as Sharpton spoke outside the facility after services were held.
