do this work in beta 1.7? if, how long does it take to the killing to get started? and how many mobs spawn at each floor. Btw this is the best mob grinder tutorial!:)

@pumpaking Yes it still works takes about 50 seconds to start getting loot and about 10 is the max on each floor just because they do not stay there very long and are quickly pushed down to the collection site and thank you

Thank you for the excellent tutorial! at 11:39 you talk about the bar of glass to stop mobs from jumping in lava. There it's next to the lava, but as you walk across your tower the other area shows the glass above the lava. With the first one the mobs could jump into the lava and with the 2nd the loot sometimes popped up into the lava. Am I doing something wrong?

If people want to extend their tower down to bedrock, do the initial tower at ground level and stock up a lot of tnt. Make a shaft down to bedrock with it and then shape the ways with shape charges!
