@XWarxChief September 23, 2000, while playing in only the fifth game of his college career, Taliaferro sustained a career-ending spinal cord injury while tackling tailback Jerry Westbrooks during Penn State's game versus Ohio State. Taliaferro's helmet had hit Westbrooks' knee during the tackle, bursting the fifth cervical vertebra in his neck and bruising his spinal cord. Unable to control his fall, the crown of his helmet hit the turf and his body rolled awkwardly over his neck.

that shot at 4:12 with the LSU player celebrating and the focus pull to the OU player grabbing his helmet! that camera man deserves an emmy or something, thats an amazing shot!!

@razkable well not to take anything away from vince young, he was a heck of a college player, but that oklahoma team that florida beat was pretty pretty good. sam bradford was better in 2008 then leinart was in 05. Demarco murray wasent as good for sure as bush/white duo but he was still really good. and most of all vince young had probably the best championship game performance. but overall tim tebow was a greater college player and had a way supperior career.

@RG32hockey no your not spitting hoot smoke your rught he was a beast at florida god but i give it to vince since he won it against a better team in the championship round usc were the defending champs and had bush and leinart two heisman winners togetehr now texas was stcked but not like usc and their talent wasnt that good in thta game and listen tebow was great but his teams won him games and he wasn that impressive in his wins like vince passing and running not just running
