Cynthia Lambert, former beat writer for the Detroit Red Wings discusses Bob Probert and his future with the Red Wings during this segment which aired on PASS Sports during the 1993-94season. It aired shortly after Bob lost his famed bout with up-and-comer Sandy McCarthy of the Calgary Flames. This would be Bob's last fight as a Red Wing, as he was not resigned for the following season in which he sat out the entire year, reentered rehab, then signed with the Chicago Blackhawks. I found it going through some old tapes.

Anybody know what happened to Cindy Lambert? I thought she did a pretty good job as a hockey beat writer but, all of a sudden, she was gone. I think she may have gotten married and had a baby and decided to be a full time mom but, if anybody knows, post it.
There's another version about year later with Lambert on the old Channel 4 Sunday Sports Final where she really rips Probert. Rumor had it those two were an "item" and fell out out after he went to Chicago.
well when you are the heavyweight champ of the league as long as he was and an enforcer as tough as he was make the all-star team, you can say he's was up j.o.
