@CARiDcom Thanks for the reply! But even though I can just do the alcohol and test it with the tape, whether its good or not, I'm still afraid that it might start peeling in a few months or so?..

Bought dash kit for my Solstice and it is very nice. Installation is simple, video is useful. Will get one for my wifes car!!!!!!!

Ok so I got the Sherwood kit from you guys, but the only thing it came with is the adhesive promoter. No Prep-Sol 70.. it mentions it in the instructions, but it didn't come with any.(headbang). Iv tried shopping all around at auto stores, hardware stores, and most of the guys haven't even heard of the stuff! The only Pre-sol 70 I can find is a gallon of it online for $40! CouldI get away with just cleaning the dash with the alcohol?(Which is the next step in the instructions after the Pre-Sol

@zacrs4 Hello, Pre-sol 70 is a professional which is suggested by most manufacturing companies by default, However it IS hard to get and not a necessity for cleaning or prepping the dashboard for a kit installation. Rubbing alcohol and paper towels will do the same job with much less hassle and at a much better price. you can always test the results of how ready the dashboard is by using a piece of scotch tape on it. If it sticks on firmly, then you're good to go to the next step.
