Interestingly Convar/OnTrack are not connected but OnTrack also did 9/11 hard-drive recoveries.
-
The assembled agents
expressed no knowledge of the reported hard-drive recovery effort or the alleged scheme.
Moreover, one of the New York agents pointed out, from personal experience, that
everything at the WTC was pulverized to near power, making it extremely unlikely that
any hard-drives survived to the extent they data be recovered.

Hard-Drive Restoration
We asked about persistent press reports that a certain damaged hard-drives had
been recovered from the WTC site and sent to Germany, where a company was working
to restore them. These press reports contend that large volumes of suspicious
transactions flowed through computers housed in the WTC on the morning of9/11 as part
of some illicit but ill-defined effort to profit from the attacks.

It's unsubstantiated that Convar/Ontrack were a joint company, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact the primary investors in Kroll before/during/after 9/11 were at the core of the transactions on 9/11.....
The FBI itself covered up the transfers in a brief mention in a commission memorandum drafted in August 2003.

If there is german intel involved the animosity alone from all the Microsoft back doors and Eschellon spy holes peeping at Germany they would LOVE to show a connection to CIA types for the foreknowlege, what happened? Somebody got a offer they couln't refuse? Because of a plain envelope delivered with some documents and or pictures?

no I don't think so. this sounds like a false trail to me.

holy shit.
Richard Wagner, a data retrieval expert at the company, said illegal transfers of more than $100 million might have been made immediately before and during the disaster. "There is a suspicion that some people had advance knowledge of the approximate time of the plane crashes in order to move out amounts exceeding $100 million,"
Indeed a funny world, imagine the sheer luck involved to make those trades in that manner when I doubt the terrorists would even know the exact time of impact.

It's even funnier: Ontrack/Convar was acquired by Kroll Inc. in 2002. And Kroll Inc. was responsible for WTC security from 1993 until 9/11. Funny coincidences. If you dare, go ahead and see how Kroll was connected to the Blackstone Group and how they were connected to Larry Silverstein
(yeah, the guy who bought the WTC some weeks before 9/11 with little money and who squeezed out billions of insurance payout from the incident with funny arguments). A funny world, it is!
