Sundown - Gordon Lightfoot's career took another step up with the release of Sundown in 1974. It had been 3 years since If You Could Read My Mind was all over the Billboard charts and he had had a hard time getting airplay. This 4-chord song is a great campfire tune.

  • But, the B chord sounds so much like the E chord when played this way...very rich sounding though, gonna use it. Nice lesson.

  • If you are in standard tuning, this will need to be played with a capo at the 2nd fret to be in tune with the recording...FYI
