Don't know if this is typical feeding behavior or a bizarre, zoo-induced tic.

  • Saw one of these for the first time at the dallas world aquarium.. Very fascinating bird was quite the comedian too he had me laughing and he was posing for my pictures

  • dinosaur

  • it really is a strangebird, David Attenborough quiet rightly said you could be forgiven for mistaking it for a person in a Bird suit because of it's size, apperence and behaviuor, the one he filmed in a documentry was much more striking, think it must have been younger as it was Sky Blue with a bright yellow bill

  • Fascinating. it's also a rather intimidating bird. the behavior (as i read it) is natural: that most species of storks "bill clap" as a means of communication

  • This is called "clappering." Most storks do it, usually as a territorial display. It is a natural behavior, not a stereotype (a captivity-induced behavior.)

  • Commentary sucks

  • Storks can't make noises or call, so they bill clack. They can roll their head and throat around to change the pitch. Its just how they talk.

  • i would be scared if i were that lady. the thing can probably get ur hand off

  • Looks like Dino. It can crash her head at once.
