There was more footage, I'm sure, filmed at the last location (with big wheel), but seemingly lost. Hope you like it.
Now in its 6th year, Roman soldiers and their company march through Chester to celebrate Saturnalia, a Roman mid-winter festival in honour of Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture and the harvest.
With a role reversal where slaves sat at the head of the table while they were waited upon by their masters, the week long celebrations kept spirits (and cups of wine) topped up as they endure ever lengthening nights before the cycle would reverse and they could look forward to Spring.
