  • heavvvvvvvy, awesome

  • @kungfudancin actually Stjepan Hauser has a video here in YT parodying Du Pre and other great cellist well known for their iterpretative style.. search for it in his channel

  • @motu828mk2 :))you're right

  • @Elainelps0421 i don't think he's banging his head around just for the sake of banging his head...

it's his way to express this piece, but I'm honest, in my opinion he overdid it a little bit... i think, it's too fast,

the musical thoughts seem to get a bit lost because of this, same goes for the intonation at 1:50

  • @cellist2793 Then it's not bad intonation. It's 'expressive' intonation!

  • @cellist2793 let him bang his head, that's what he feels...

  • @cellist2793 We all express ourselves differently. I see some cellists sit and play like stone statues or machines - some people think that's the acceptable or appropriate way for a classical musician to perform. Not personally knowing this sonata, if I were to hear it for the first time, I would imagine the cellist needing to emote with the music and not sit like concrete and play. I think he does fine. He's not really head "banging"...it's his way of emoting. You have yours, I'm sure!

  • Oh my goodness, he;s 2 much words....

  • He's POSSESSED!!! QUICK GET AN EXORCIST!!!!! XD
