ABSTRACT

In this talk I will explore the way that Australia upgraded to the metric system quickly, smoothly, and economically. I will describe which methods worked — while referring to the costs that Australians saved — and are still saving every day — through their successful metric transition. I will also comment on, the metrication programs of the UK and the USA.

Our dear Pat, had passed away this year, he did a great job in Metrication.

Sadly, America has no leadership, only thing they are concerned with is getting the rich richer, even the middle class does not matter to them, any more, being they shipped the jobs to Metric only countries, while refusing to go Metric. We are on the volunteer or ignore it, it will go away system. We are forced to buy two sets of tools, one Imperial and one Metric, for home and work, that is a lot of wasted money.
