I think you are wrong !! this mosque was created by hassan2 the great to preserv moroccan architecture and the to preserve the traditional works in moudakhar art and nakch ljibss ...A lot of technics are lost and hassan2 had a great inteligence to make this mosque for many reasons .

So please don't speak about taxs it's not a main thing in the story....

hassan 2 the great as you all call him was in fact a great man... He built this mosque and wanted every moroccan to build a mosque and it was the best thing ever. he gave the chance to each and everyone of us to put a stone in this mosque and he did a great job the only one built on water, 2nd biggest mosque in the world and the tallest minaret the most modern as well anything else is minor and we dont care about it. thank you hassan 2 for giving us the chance to build a mosque on water
