Hear the perfect swinging master done for Sun-Records, this is the "frustrated" contemporary Meteor re-make, because of the none release of this ditty at Sun !
Actually he was on Sun before he was on Meteor, he was signed to Sun before Elvis and stayed after Carl and Johnny left. You can still drive by Meteor Records studio in Memphis, though it is in pretty severe disrepair last time I went by there.
I had the honor of becoming friends with Mac (I did a student documentary on him) and anyone that had the same privilege knows what Ia m talking about. A true southern gentleman. I miss you Mac!
Thanks for your message Alex.
Of course, my favourite Sun artist was Jerry Lee Lewis.
I played piano for the English Rock 'n' Roll band, Yakety Yak from 1970 until 2007.
I have been playing boogie-woogie piano for over 45 years....every day!
But I still don't compere with Merrill E. Moore!

This is a bit Merrill E. Moore, a bit Hank Williams. It needs a bit of Merrill Moore's Boogie Woogie Piano, then it would be perfect.

Very interesting comparison with Malcolm's alternative version on Sun.
