Political theorist John Keane claims that the future of democracy is in the hands of China. He sees two trends: one which he calls an experiment in post-democracy, and the other a textbook statement of monitory democracy.

  • @ericown sucking Mainland business ppl's dicks

  • what you think Hong Kong for?

  • the monotheism democracy. funny et ironique.

  • Right. All of them.

  • And yes, my masters thesis in Industrial Economics is coming along quite well. (Wikipedia is a lousy source; however its sources can often be used, but only after much scrutiny).

  • Christ. Calm down. You are absolutely right I have no clue how the Brits do their stuff. It was a fun little side note meant to be an ironical response to mrzack888s comment on the [evil] SECRET government of the UK. I dont believe for one moment Keane actually has anything to do with MI6 spying and I know as much about the secret governance of Britain as I can gather from the James Bond movies. I feel my time is better spent focusing on my own country's secret government.

  • first of all wikipedia is not a reliable source - ever go to university or even school? they say they'll fail you if you ever referenced wikipedia. secondly an accusation is not proof and it is stupid to say that mi6 i s the secret government of the UK, all those claims show is that you have no understanding of british government, politics or police.

  • Anywho, back to the point, you cant be serious when you are trying to defend your generalization. There are so many situations where your analysis does not apply that I dont know where to start: Children, uninformed, retards, those who agree with you, principal non-voters, voters against Economic Hitman practices, and so on. This should encompass a huge portion of the population. Rash generalizations are for losers.

  • Funny you should say that, Iran accuses him of spying for MI6 (wiki it), the SECRET government of the UK.

  • yes he is. he may not be responsible for his SECRET government, but he is responsible for the transparent government if he doesn't speak up about the truth.
